LIFE AID for PALESTINE

Information for mutual aid donation campaigns

Some campaigns are in non-US currency, but most will have the option to change currency. Due to the ongoing aggression against Palestinian survival, many campaigns have been canceled/paused and restarted. The campaigns listed here are up to date as of August 2025 and have been community verified. When possible, donations made through PayPal are the fastest way for people to receive funds. We encourage everyone to follow these families on Instagram for the most up-to-date information on their campaigns.

Two Brothers, One Mission: A Lifeline for our Family in Gaza

We are Fares and Tarek from Gaza. We’re currently living in a tent with our family after losing our home and everything we owned. We survived bombings, injuries, and forced displacement — but now we are facing a different kind of battle: the daily fight to survive under impossible living conditions.

Life in Gaza has become almost unlivable — no electricity, limited access to water, no income, and basic necessities are either unavailable or shockingly expensive. Fares suffered a severe injury to his arm and has already undergone 7 major surgeries, including a complex bone graft. He is still in a long recovery process requiring multiple hospital visits per month, ongoing physical therapy, medication, and a special healthy diet.

Help Ayman Survive and Care for Orphans Amid Gaza’s Famine

Ayman Kamel Abu Raida, a 55-year-old Palestinian with Iraqi citizenship, came to Gaza to visit his family after living in Iraq for over 30 years, never imagining that his visit would turn into a nightmare when war broke out on October 7, 2023. Today, he finds himself trapped in a humanitarian catastrophe, struggling to survive while also caring for orphaned children who lost their families in the war..

From Ayman

“My goal is no longer to leave Gaza but to stay and care for the orphans and displaced family members who have lost everything. These children have no one left to support them. As ceasefire violations and bombings continue, we live in constant fear of losing our lives at any moment. I have been moving from one shelter to another in harsh conditions, with no source of income, desperately trying to keep these children safe and fed.”

Support Salah’s Family’s Journey to Safety

Salah Al-Maqousi, is a 28 year old visual artist and disability advocate displaced with his pregnant wife and young siblings in Gaza. He is the eldest in his family and this campaign is their only source of support. Salah’s mother Tahani had baby Ali at 42 years old during the genocide with no perinatal care. His wife Shahd is 4 months pregnant and malnourished. Please donate to his GoFundMe to help provide food and life saving essentials for the family.

“My name is Salah Ashraf Al-Maqousi from besieged Gaza City. Before the war, I worked for an organization that helped people with disabilities at a cafeteria on the beach. The days were beautiful and we worked with passion and love. Until the declaration of war, the genocide of Gaza City. I am responsible for 6 members of my family and I am the only source of support for this family because my siblings are young. I feel compelled to ask for your support and stand by our side. My family desperately needs you.”

Help Moatasen Save His Family

“I am Moatasem Billah Sabri Abu Karsh, I am 27 years old. I have an amputation injury in my foot and toes from the Israeli war on Gaza in recent years. I am an athlete on the Palestinian national team for wheelchair basketball. I am married to Hanan Abu Odeh, 27 years old, and we have two children (a girl, a boy), Sabreen, who is 6 years old and Saber, 4 years old. I was working on a special project for people with disabilities (a cafeteria on the beach). But now I have no home or work. The occupation has destroyed my home, my work, my dreams and my ambitions. We are displaced every day in one place, and fear and danger haunt us in northern Gaza. My cousins were killed as they were fleeing from place to place. I am very afraid for my children and my wife, and I cannot move around much because I am a person with a disability. I need to travel to safety with my two children. I hope you can help me with that.

“I have participated in many sports competitions. I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in South Africa to support cancer patients, riding bicycles in the Netherlands. First in my city, Gaza City, in swimming. And a wheelchair basketball player.”

Help Ismail, Raneen, and their family survive in Gaza

Ismail Fayes Abu Karesh is only 27 years old, but he carries the weight of an entire family on his shoulders. Displaced by relentless bombing and destruction in Gaza, he is now homeless in Jabalia Camp, sheltering in dire conditions — and trying to hold his family together.

He recently married the love of his life, Raneen, in a tent — the only place left to say their vows. The family welcomed their first child Hamza in July, and they must purchase diapers and formula. Ismail also cares for his six sisters, two brothers, and elderly father, whose eyesight is failing. They have nothing left. No home. No income. No security. And with a new baby, they are facing the unimaginable — trying to bring new life into the world amidst devastation.

Support Jehad to treat his leg before amputation

Jehad is an artist of great talent. Before the war, he painted many beautiful murals at schools in Gaza. Since being injured in two bombings (one while still in the hospital recovering), he has been slowly getting back into his art by drawing portraits of his supporters.

“Hi guys, I’m Jehad Arafat, I was injured twice in the war. The first was on February 10, which resulted in a fracture in my leg bones and loss of 8 cm of bone. The second was on February 15, when I was undergoing surgery at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The hospital building was bombed, which resulted in another injury to the other foot, a fracture in my leg bone, and the amputation of a finger from my hand. There is also a half-amputated finger with no bone in it. So I ask you, the generous ones, to stand by me and help me raise funds for treatment. Thank you very much ❤

Help Ibrahem’s Family Survive in Gaza

The situation in the North of Gaza is dire, they are facing unending famine and constant danger as bombardment has not ended. Ibrahem and his family lost their home and everything that they once knew. He is looking for mutual aid support to sustain himself, his pregnant wife, his son, his younger sisters and their elderly family on a daily basis.

One hundred percent of the funds raised will be going towards all household expenses in order to keep Ibrahem and his family alive and well. As you may or may not know, all household expenses are extremely high in Gaza at this time. Anything that you can give right now is very helpful as these are lifesaving funds for a precious family just trying to survive.

A message from Ibrahem:
“I love my little brother and I hope people will help me so that I can survive life with my family, cover household expenses, and build a better future for my new son, Ismail, and my wife.”

Aid a Family of 10 – They lost everything in this war.

Hello everyone, I am Abdul Rahman, I am from a family of ten people. I used to live in the north of the Gaza Strip, but I was displaced since the beginning of the war to the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip because we miraculously escaped death. We lived in Rafah in a tent for 8 months and we suffered a lot. After that, we were displaced to the Al-Zawaida area and we also lived in a tent for 4 months and We also suffered in providing water and food and the difficulty of living in a tent.

I lost a lot in this war. I lost two homes, friends, and a lot of other things. But on 10/11/2024 I lost the most precious people to my heart, my aunt and her family. They were all martyred💔.  Also, we are now living in the northern Gaza Strip. We have rented an apartment because our house is destroyed. We are still suffering and I am in dire need of your help. Your donation means a lot to me and my family.

This is a small part of the difficult life I lived during this war and any donation means a lot to us. Your donation helps my family and thank you all. I love you!

Help Shahed and her family

My name is Shahed, a 22-year-old Palestinian girl who once dreamed of becoming an interior designer. I’ve always believed that determination and hard work can lead to anything. But then, the war took everything from me.

In January 2024, my home was completely destroyed by an airstrike that hit our neighborhood. Since then, my family and I have been displaced more than 15 times, constantly searching for shelter, for privacy, for safety we can no longer find. We’ve been living in overcrowded, difficult conditions that strip away one’s sense of dignity and peace. My education came to a halt, my dreams faded before my eyes, and everything I had built began to crumble.

Today, I am asking for your help — not just for me, but for my family and our future. I need financial support to help rebuild our home, cover our daily needs amidst extreme inflation, and if the border opens, I plan to travel to continue my studies and pursue the future I still believe in.

Your donations will go toward university tuition, study supplies, psychological support, and safe housing — all the things that were stolen from me, but which I still have hope to rebuild.”

Help Bassem’s Family

Help Bassem, Zaid, and Muhammed, a Palestinian family that continues to narrowly escape death on a daily basis. Now displaced once again after the Nussirat massacre they are all facing severe malnutrition and dehydration. Famine is ravaging the north of the Gaza Strip and they are being heavily impacted by it. They continue to do their best to survive and have constant mental health struggles as trauma continues to impact their everyday life. Bassem has recently lost his uncle who raised him as a father would which has left Bassem with such a heavy heart. The struggle to survive daily increases every minute!

Hear directly from the family:
“I’ve lived through seven wars, but this one—it feels like the end. This is genocide. They have stolen everything from me—my freedom, my breath, my voice. They’ve taken my friends, my family, my food, my water. They’ve taken my right to exist, simply because I am Palestinian. I need you to stand with me, to help me fight for my life. Please, join my campaign. Speak up for us, because we are being silenced. We are being erased. The situation here gets worse by the hour, and I don’t know how much longer we have. I’m sending you this message because you are my last hope to escape this nightmare. Please, don’t turn away.”

Everyday Survival Needs For Anas and Family

Anas was born with paralytic polio, a severe form of poliovirus, which damages the nerves in the spinal cord leading to muscle paralysis and chronic pain. This means that Anas is in constant pain without his treatment, which he has not had access to since October 2023.

Anas has raised funds to evacuate Gaza. However he lost a great percentage of his donations due to transfer fees. He’s also had to spend a large portion of his medical treatments, and evacuation fees for him and his family to survive while he waits for the border to open. We have started another fundraiser for him so he doesn’t have to spend any more of those funds intended for evacuation, and medical costs. These funds will solely be used for food, shelter, aid, and any other means for survival in North Gaza.

Anas’s loving and caring father was murdered by the occupation in October 2023. He’ s the only provider in his family and it cost up to $5000/month to provide food for his family. Anas and his family are now displaced in the north with no access to toilet, kitchen or anything that will help him survive the continuous attacks. As a result of the displacement he has developed painful ulcers, and a host of other health issues, because he does not have access to facilities that support his disability. He does not have a car and travels long distances by wheelchair and must navigate unstable and dangerous surfaces. He’s relying solely on the generosity of people like you to help him survive while they wait for the border to re-open.

Anas is part of a loving and supportive family of 6, including himself:
• Anas, 24
• His beautiful mother, 41
• younger brothers, Muhammad, 23 and Ahmed, 13
• His sister, Rama, 10
• and Hadi, 9

Anas’s team is made up of 3 people Angie, Gio, and Kat who have become close friends with Anas. They all provide different life experiences and skills they are bringing to this fundraising team.

Help Hussam to Safety

Hussam is a 25 year old wheelchair basketball athlete for Palestine. He sustained an injury from a bombing in 2014. At only age 14 he became paralyzed from the waist down. He needs a complex surgery that is also not available to him.

Hussam requires urgent medical care for a tumour he has had in his foot for way too long now without access to treatment. He also requires ongoing life saving hemophilia meds that ensure his blood clots to prevent and treat internal bleeds (meds are low in supply in Gaza, if they run out this will be a disaster!). Substantial funds are needed to ensure he can be supported to evacuate, secure housing, purchase a new wheelchair, and also for his medical care and procedures. Just his medication itself can exceed $10k per month.

Please consider becoming a regular sponsor of Hussam’s by setting up recurring donations, sharing Hussam’s campaign with your networks, running fundraisers to raise funds for him. Every single dollar raised will help bring hope, health and a bright future for the beautiful Hussam and help get him back on the basketball court doing what he loves most!

Help Ali and his Family Survive

Before this war began, Ali played wheelchair basketball for Palestine, loved to volunteer and work with children, and was (and continues to be) a vocal advocate for the disabled population. He also helps care for his disabled sister, who is blind, and both elderly parents, who are also in wheelchairs.

This page was originally started to help Ali buy a new wheelchair, which we successfully did. Unfortunately, the borders have remained closed to the shipment of his wheelchair and any humanitarian aid. We are all praying that this will change soon.

Ali and his 10 family members have survived nearby bombings because there is nowhere safe in Gaza and “safe zones” change at a moment’s notice. They have been displaced again and again, and forced to live on the streets. They continue to try to survive now in a tent amongst the rubble in unimaginable living conditions.

A beautiful moment in the midst of despair: Ali is recently engaged!! He and his fiancee are dreaming of their future together, free and safe. Please pray for their health and safety and donate if you can .
